Ancient castle of medieval origin dating back to 1100 which today offers itself as a charming holiday home set on a hill with breathtaking views of the green hills between the provinces of Grosseto and Siena and only 1500 meters from the medieeval village of Roccastrada.

The surroundings of Roccastrada are a paradise for nature lovers where it is possible to do trekking and mountain biking with itineraries and marked trails exploring forests, ancient villages and castles.

In addition to the usual good reasons for which you surely visit Tuscany, that is to discover the many art cities and appreciate the eno-gastronomic culture, you can also take advantage of the proximity of the coast (40 km) to take a swim in one of the many beautiful sandy beaches.

For spas lovers there are many in the area, all within easy reach, and where you can treat yourself to some healthy spas relaxation; there are both free and fee-paying ones, the nearest and only 25 km are the Terme di Petriolo while the most famous Terme di Saturnia are 50 km away.
